Reducing your Carbon Footprint
Here are some fun, easy ways to reduce your carbon footprint, the amount of greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere. Paper or plastic? Make your own market bags whether knit or crochet for you and your friends. Schedule regular tune ups for your furnace, then turn it down.Cuddle up under a hand made afghan or throw. Toss old wool sweaters in the washer creating felted wool. Repurpose into a handbag, tote bag or even mittens. Car pooling reduces greenhouse gases. As a rider you can then knit or crochet an afghan to keep warm when you turn down the heat!
