Five Free Patterns Fridays

Five Free Patterns Fridays

Are you a Ravelry member? If not, it is a resource that crocheters and knitters of all levels love, including us! Make sure you check out Ravelry every Friday afternoon. Because on Fridays we share some of our favorite and newest Red Heart designs. It is our way of letting the yarn world know which free patterns we love, and have recently added to our Red Heart website. You’ll find photos of projects with all of our new yarns, retro designs, easy craft patterns, Double Stitch Twins and Stitch Nation by Debbie Stoller designs.

Need to know how it works? Become a member at www.ravelry.com Then simply search for “Red Heart” in the search box and sort by “Recently published”. You can specify other search criteria along the left side of the page. You’ll see what many others have made and posted besides us, too. Ours are the ones that say “Red Heart Website” in small type below the photo.

Five-Free Fridays are great way to kick off the weekend. Enjoy!

What I like about Red Heart Yarn

I love that any type of yarn I need or want for a project they have it. They have all the colors of the rainbow and then some, and the price can not be beaten. You get a quality product at a good price.

Scarf Project

I have 3 scarfs I crocheted in the Red Heart colors required for the 2012 Olympic Scarf Project. I know it's not many, but at the time I did what I could. Everyone has met their goal except Montana. Their deadline has passed, but I hope they will accept my scarfs. I am from a small town in southwest Louisiana called Iowa. And we were always taught to share with the unfortunate.

What I like about Red Heart Yarn

I have a lot of things that I like. First is that they have so many types of yarn and a large variety of colors. I like the way it works up in any project that I am working on. I really like the new line of soft yarns. They work up nice I have used them in many baby blanket patterns. They don't feel as heavy as the regular for ply but they keep the baby nice and warm. My great grand daughter has one I made that she will not go to sleep with out.
