Hip! Hip! Hurray! 1,000 Patterns!
Join me in getting up and doing a little hook and needle dance as we post our 1,000th pattern. Life’s best moments are when we have something to celebrate, and this is a milestone worth a happy celebration. We strive to bring you the best designs from the best designers using your favorite Red Heart yarns. And now RedHeart.com has 1,000 patterns to choose from!
Our 1,000th pattern is the wonderful Contemporary Granny Ripple Throw. It uses the same type of stitch as a traditional granny square but in a rippling pattern. It is an easy level crochet that will look great in any colors you choose. I think it is a very appropriate design for this milestone in our pattern offerings. I hope you will celebrate with us by crocheting it for someone you love…or for your own comfort when the temperatures dip.

Just joined and love this pattern
I was so excited to see this pattern. I have never really done
a lot of ripple but this caught my eye. I have one almost finished and plan on doing another in half double crochet instead of the double and add stitches to the chain because I will use smaller hook. My hats off to the designer. This can be done beautifully as is or change to many variations. Thank you for offering.
1000 patterns - keep going!
Your patterns are the best! I would probably make all 1,000 of them if I had the time and money for yarn. They're always different-looking (fashionable but not weird), and very clearly written. They often make me want to try new yarns, which is part of the fun of crafts. Please keep the free patterns coming but keep the first 1,000 up where we can come back to them!
1000th Free Pattern
Beautiful afghan. I haven't made a ripple afghan in years. I think it is about time I made this one. Thanks for being there for us knitters and crocheters.

1,000 patterns, WOW!
Thank you for all the wonderful free patterns and of course we love your yarn. Congratulations, that's a lot of work.
