I have been crocheting an assortment of stuffed animals for my two Grandchildren ages 10 and 3 to take a break from hats, scarves and ponchos. It is so much fun to see them watching my work piece by piece and asking with much anticipation as to when will it finished. They absolutely adore their handmade gifts and I absoultely adore them:D

I love Red Heart yarn, currently I'm crocheting "Bookworms" out of different color redheart yarns to help raise funds for out of pocket expenses for a Kidney transplant for my husband. I'm also making "Ear warmers". I like that Red Heart yarn is affordable & I love working with it. I'm also glad you have a alot of colors to choose from. Thanks to a neighbor (nice little older lady)(Mrs. Hallahan) that I visited often to keep her company, she was the person who taught me the basics & I've been learning on my own since. I'd say I started around age 12. I find it very relaxing! crochet mom

I have been using Red Heart yarn since 1974 it is the best; the quality is excellent also the price is great
After many years of washing an item it still keep it shape
I did crocheted both my boys baby cloths like their hats, blanket, bootees sweater
Now after 30 years I’m crocheting my granddaughter her baby item
I am in the process of making her a butterfile afghan I am almost done
Crotchet it 5 different colors and made big enough so she can still used it when she become a teenager.

I love Red Heart yarn, but big problem is finding the different yars other then Red Heart Super Saver or baby soft yarn. I would love to find the yarn with Love and also the new Dazzleaire. Have searched and cannot find. Thank you for having these giveaways to give someone a chance to win yarn.

I am 55 years old and I was taught how to knit and crochet when I was in grammer school. And Red Heart was the yarn I used. I am on disability so I spend my days either knitting or crocheting. I have 4 children and 8 beautiful grandchildren. I am in the process of making each one an afghan. So when they put the afghan around their shoulder, it will be like me giving them a hug.
I would really love to win, it sure would help.

But even if I don't win, I still love your yarn

I have never used Red Heart yarn before but when I saw that beautiful cape pattern in Ruby Boutique "Changes" I decided to try it, so here I am, still unable to determine how to order it on this website. (It isn't available yet in the stores near me.) I'll keep trying.

I made the apron for a Christmas present for a very dear friend. I turned out beautifully. I love working with the yarn and how it looks in the finished product. I will definitely use it again. I'm thinking I will make myself a pretty shawl or sweater out of it. Thank you, Red Heart for coming out with such beautiful yarns!

I've seen this yarn at Jo-Ann. I especially like the Ivory shade. It's really pretty and subtle, not as glittery as holiday yarn. There's a nice pattern on this site for a short-sleeved cardigan made with Shimmer.
