Crochet Hook: 5.5mm [US I-9].
Yarn needle.
Throw measures 36" x 50".
GAUGE: Rnds 1-3 = 3 1/2" x 3 1/2". Full square = 6 3/4" x 6 3/4". CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Blushing Grannies
I did the squares in the red colors, did not get as much of a color contrast as the photo shows...but still very pretty. Still struggling to sew this together. If i had it to do over again I would try to join it as i went. I would also use a lighter color in the center instead of ranch red.
