RED HEART® “Chunky™”: 3 (4, 4, 5, 5) balls 7724 Berry Breeze.
Knitting Needles: 8mm [US 11].
Yarn needle.
Directions are for size Small; changes for sizes Medium, Large, XLarge and XXLarge are in parentheses.
Finished Bust: 36½ (41, 44, 48, 52½)”.
Finished Length: 20 (20¼, 20½, 20¾, 21)”.
GAUGE: 11 sts = 4”; 20 rows = 4” in Garter st. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge given.

I think maybe I will put frogs in the front, to close the vest. I don't know how to make buttonholes. :D
Good Idea
I think that it would look cute with something in front to close...I still don't know what to do the with the gray heather chuncy yarn...maybe this with withthing to close it...what is a frog? lol..
Closing idea for this vest
Frogs are decorative looped "asian" style knotted closures, sometimes seen on asian robes and coats.
I think another easy way besides making button holes is adding crochet chain loops for buttons sewn on opposite side to fit into.
Or a tie on the tope of the vest using braided or crochet chain loop.
or add a zipper - just sew in in. yes, this is possible if you ahve a sewing machine ;)

This is just beautiful. I hope that when I learn how to knit I will be able to make this as it is gorgeous.
