RED HEART® “Super Saver®”: 1 skein 373 Petal Pink and 312 Black.
Crochet Hook: Size G-6 [4 mm].
Yarn needle, polyfill stuffing.
Directions are for an adult medium 8-9” foot.

what does crochet "even" mean?
At the ** at the bottom of the "outer slipper" instructions it says to "work even in sc until 10 1/2 inches from beginning. Does that mean to sc in every sc or does it mean to work 2 sc into the 2 sc spaces?
"Work even" means that you
"Work even" means that you want to have the same number of stitches on each round. so count the number of stitches you had on the last round, then make sure you have the same number of sc on each round after that.

is the snout seperate?
I was going to see if I could modify these into bunny slippers with bigger ears and no snout, but I'm not clear on reading the pattern if the snout is made, and stuffed separately, then sewn on, and I couldn't modify the pattern if it's not. lol I'm not that skilled.
They'd be SUPER cute as white bunny slippers, and I haven't found any patterns for them in this style (the stuffed kind of slippers)
answer to snout question
In this pattern, the snout is the first thing you make when starting the slipper. You make the outside layer of the slipper by working into the stitches for the snout.
