Quick and Cozy Knitting Pattern

Beginner-friendly this adorable knit hat and afghan set is a fun project to try if you are just starting out as well as a terrific quick-to-knit gift if you are looking for an idea that is fun and fast.

RED HEART® “Baby Clouds™”, Art. E710 (6 ounce solid/4.5 ounce multicolor skeins)

or

RED HEART® “Light & Lofty™”, Art. E708 (6 ounce solid/4.5 ounce multicolor skeins).

Afghan Amounts: 6 (16, 22) Ounces No. 9025 Blue Sky CA, and 12 (26, 42) Ounces No. 9311 Cloud CB. Hat Amount: 2 Ounces CA.

Circular Knitting Needles: 10mm [US Size 15] – 36" for afghans.
Knitting Needles: 10mm [US Size 15] for hat.

Yarn needle.

Directions are given for baby blanket; changes for regular and large size afghans are in parentheses.

Afghans measure approximately 341/2 x 40 (481/2 x 65, 631/2 x 80)".

Hat circumference = 15" to fit most babies.

GAUGE: In St st - 8 sts = 4"; 12 rows = 4". CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size needles to obtain the gauge given.
