Knitting Needles: 5.5mm [US 9].
Yarn needle, 2 toothpicks, 2 round beads, craft glue.
Finished basket measures 3½” x 3”.
Gauge is not critical for this project.

Perfect Gift for my Knitting Teacher
She is a Knitting guru and generally looks down on crochet but this is too cute not to make for her! This will be great as a package tag for all my knitting friends as well!

In celebration of I Love Yarn Day, we are making one of these for each of the clients at the York County Senior Center in York, SC. I converted it to crochet and made half of them while another person knitted half. Several of the ladies (and men) pitched in to make the "needles" and balls of yarn. this is a great project just in time.
