Learn to Crochet - Bobbles
When a cluster is worked into one stitch, it forms a bobble. Bobbles can be worked in double crochet or longer stitches.
To make a five double crochet bobble:
(1) Work five double crochet into one stitch, leaving the last loop of each on the hook.
(2) Yarn over and pull yarn through all six loops on the hook.
Bobbles made with more double crochet stitches or with heavy yarn can be closed and secured with an extra chain stitch. The pattern will specify if this is necessary.
