To decrease in single crochet, draw up a loop in each of the next 2 stitches.


Yarn over.


Pull yarn through all three loops on the hook.


To decrease in double crochet, yarn over and draw up a loop in the next stitch, yarn over and pull yarn through two loops only on the hook, yarn over


And draw up a loop in the next stitch, yarn over and pull yarn through two loops only on the hook.


Yarn over and pull yarn through the remaining three loops on the hook.
