  • RED HEART® Super Saver®: 1 skein each 624 Tea Leaf A, 347 Light Periwinkle B, 313 Aran C, 341 Light Grey D, 726 Coral E, 321 Gold F, 530 Orchid G, 368 Paddy Green H, 381 Light Blue I, 365 Coffee J, 320 Cornmeal K, 360 Café Latte L, and 256 Carrot M
    Note: Only small quantities of G and M are needed for this project.
  • Susan Bates® Crochet Hooks: 3.75 mm [US F-5] and 5 mm [US H-8]
  • Yarn needle

16” (40.5 cm) square pillow form, black embroidery floss (for facial features), red crayon (to shade cheeks), 10” (25.5 cm) piece of heavy cardboard
Gauge/Tension: GAUGE: 9 sts = 2½” (6.5 cm); 6 rows = 2½” (6.5 cm) in alternating rows of double crochet and single crochet with larger hook. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.
